Meet the owner.

The owner Yvette Lee Gunn with a passion to be inclusive to all, due some experiences they had encountered, they said NO more and having some experience in being the odd one out, they thought why not put this to good use, rather than get upset, find a solution. And that's when a gender neutral / unisex brand was born. You Girl Boy.

History

With a passion to be inclusive to all due some experiences I had encountered, I said NO more. And that's when "You Girl Boy", a gender neutral / unisex clothing brand evolved, in a garage in the suburbs, in 2017 with the designing of a brand that values quality, ethical, sustainable clothing with unique sizing. We have  designed a unique, all Australian brand that holds quality right down to our measurements and makes big emphasis on our values. 

You Girl Boy Mission… “is to inspire confidence through clothing”.

You Girl Boy Values…We ensure our that our manufacturers are ethically sourced and with properly paid worker. We stand against slave labour and child labour, promoting fair treatment and equality. So be assured with the our team of people in house, the Australian made Logo and the manufacture certificates you will get an ethical, quality
Australian made gender neutral /unisex products.

You Girl Boy Vision… As we grow our business organically, we also strive to support all of our diverse communities, through partnerships with ethical manufacturers who give back, we aim to make a positive impact on individuals' lives and the environment.

 

What makes You Girl Boy unique?

The owner Yvette Lee Gunn has a background in Fashion Design, earning a Diploma in Fashion Merchandising, and has 9 years of experience, with an understanding of diverse communities, enabling them the ability to locally design and manufactured in Australia, with every resource and design being well thought out, as sourcing raw martials is one of my talents, which makes our products ethically crafted with high-quality organic cotton and recycled materials from Australia. These t-shirt designs are not your standard design they are You Girl Boy designs, from in house pattern measurements to the graphics on the front and the brand name alone which sets You Girl Boy apart, making these t-shirts gender neutral / unisex.

The t-shirt design structure…

A female T-shirt is more feminine. A male t-shirt is a made a long and big, whereas You Girl Boy T-shirt is made to look more masculine/general but with a fit that does not accentuate all the curves people have, example bloated stomach and more.

For those people who have tried on, or bought a You Girl Boy organic t-shirt, will have already discovered the soft organic fabric, we use in our t-shirts, which feels amazing on your skin. Here at You Girl Boy, we only use organic fabrics, and anything we produce, will be either, organic or made from recycled materials, and this is a value we intend to keep. Stay tuned for more in the coming years with what other fabrics and recycled materials we will be using. But be reassured whatever products you use or put on your body from You Girl Boy will not be harmful to you or any animals.
